My uncle has a few rental properties, and can no longer work. He will be getting disability benefits, but form what he explained was that he needs to liquidate some assests primarily his properties. I will be taking over payments on one of his homes and the deed/title will be transferred in my name, but the mortgage will stay in place and remain his name I will just continue to make the payments. Will this affect his disability application or benefits at all?
