I was just wondering, and I apologize in advance for posting this in a (possibly) incorrect forum, but in general, what happens to supressed illegal contraband?
A police officer does something incorrectly somewhere (very vauge I know) and one's drugs (illegal) are confiscated, and possession is the only charge, and the contraband is supressed so the charge gets thrown out...
So what happens to the seized, supressed contraband? I asked google this question, but I could not get a definitive answer, does supressed contraband get returned? My obvious conclusion is that the answer would be no.
