My question involves traffic court in the State of: Ohio

Hello everyone and thank you for reading my post. I have a few questions regarding a speedy ticket I got a few weeks ago. I was wondering how I obtain a dicovery request, do I have to submit it in writing or can I get it from the Court clerk? My second question is regarding my speeding ticket. The officer said he paced me at 53 at a 35 MPH zone. I know I was not speeding at all. He turned his light on just as I was turning into my driveway and he parked behind me. There is a rail road approximately 10 feet there's a 35 MPH sign and my house is roughly 170 feet from the sign. The speed limit is 40 MPH before the train tracks. The weather conditions were wet and snowing that evening.

As I said, I do not understand how he could have paced me going 53 MPH at a 35 MPH if:

1. I was breaking getting ready to pull into my driveway

2. The 35 MPH sign is not even .1 miles from my house

I thought the officer must follow you for some distance before he/she can get an accurate speed. Does anyone have any advise regarding this matter? I have pleaded not guilty and have every intension to fight this ticket as I know I did not breal the law.
