Speeding Tickets: Unsafe Highway Speed

lundi 16 mars 2015

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA

I was pulled over with another car for speeding on Highway 17. The ticket said the radar caught me at 71 mph in a zone where the speed limit changes from 50-55 about every other mile...

1 Charge of VC-22350-I

The cop pulled me and another car over. The other car took the corner much faster than I did, and after seeing the police officer with his radar out, slammed on his brakes to match the speed I was going at (55 or 60, definitely not 71). When the cop pulled us over, he asked me if I was racing him. I claimed I did not know who the person was.

I have reason to believe he clocked the other car and decided to cite us both for the same speed. I have plead not guilty during my arraignment, and go into court on 4/2/2015 to plead my case. I am not sure how to approach this and would appreciate any advice. Thank you
