My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: United States
I have recently booked a bus for my company colleagues to travel from Brooklyn to Washington for a conference. However on the departure date, there was heavy rain and the roads were flooded. I insisted on going ahead with the journey, but the bus company refused to proceed. I had previously paid a $200 deposit for the total price of $1000. They are insisting for me to pay the balance amount even though it has been delayed. Can I even get back the refund?
