My question involves an easement in the state of: Oregon.
I have a property in oregon which has an easement against an adjacent property for the drainlines in a septic system. The easement is fairly clear and states that the grantee(my property) can install, maintain and repair the drainlines within the approx 10000sq ft. area defined in the easement.
The neighbor (grantor) has erected baricade and planted trees around the perimeter, put up no tresspass signs and claims he will not allow me access field in the event any repairs or additional lines need to be added.
Does he have any grounds to do such, and what actions can I take to force him to allow me to utilize the easement? As long as everything is working, this is not a immediate issue and I think he is just trying to bully me around, but it scares me if he will try and do something, or if something goes wrong and I can't go over their to have it fixed.
