Defamation: Employer Putting Sales Reputation in Jeopardy

vendredi 20 mars 2015

My question involves defamation in the state of: California

After 5 years at a property where I have brought our online reputation for weddings and events from 3 stars to 5 stars and won the property awards as "Best Of" in the wedding business for the past 3 years, not to mention doubling our sales bookings, the administration has put into practice dangerous steps that will not only end up hurting the property but my personal reputation as well. The most recent action refusing to return $2500 to a client for a bar they did not use. They put $5k down and we always refund whatever they dont use. The client has been looking for this refund since December and I was told today they do not intend to pay. They tried to send a check to them 6 weekls ago but it was returned as a bad address. I got accounting the correct address and assumed it was handled but the client has informed me they never received it and they are angry about all the promises I made them, relaying what was told to me by accounting. I went to the comtroller and the owner, saying that I will sit on my paycheck for a week if they can only get this refund taken care of but they are saying I cannot do that.

I'm furious and feel like my reputation is in jeapordy.
