My question involves a child visitation case from the State of New York.
The mother of my 3 year old son has visitation right for one day a month. No set date and no custody.
She has seen him 6 times in the past two years.
My girlfriend has a home in Florida and we would like to move down there with my son. In doing this I know it would stir up thing with my sons mother, and even though she does not use her visitation she would throw a fit.
I know if I were to secretly move down there it wouldn't be until Christmas that she even noticed our son was gone. But I know that's probably a horrible idea.
There's a better home, a better job, a better life waiting for me and my son in Florida.
Is there anything I can do?
Can I have her visitation taken away? Am I doomed to rot in NY for her to continuously disregard my son?
