My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA
I received these infractions:
CVC 22349a
CVC 12500a
CVC 4000a
I have a Maryland DL and registration. The courtesy notice says Driver Lic: A0000000 CA (doesn't seem unique for a placeholder) and my vehicle tag has a typo I'm guessing because the handwriting on the ticket is so bad.
1. Can I pay the fee (~$1023, which seems excessive) and say I relinquish my license/registration? If so, where do I say this, at the clerk office?
2. Due to ongoing my family health problems, I frequently "live" in different states for different parts of the year. Getting a new license/registration every time that happens seems unreasonable.
Thanks for your help guys.
