My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Colorado. I need to know what it takes to get an order established. My son is almost 9months old. There have been no problems until the last few days. Now i feel i have to bring the law into my situation to ensure my equal rights. His mother and i were never married. She lived with me for awhile. I have no problem supporting him financially. After three days of missed "appointments" to see him i went to where she lives and was told to go away i had to right to be there and the cops would be called. So i left and called the police myself. They conducted a welfare check and reported everything ok. She has threatened to leave the state "as i have no rights to parenting, because we were never married" according to her. So I would like something asap that prevents her from leaving with him. Something that sets up a schedule where i can see him now(well as soon as possible. I miss him so much) and then some thing permanent. Also on a side note can i stand outside the house where she is staying. On the sidewalk or street. I want her to know I'm serious and will not accept this treatment and am not backing down
