I got a speeding ticket in a school zone with active school lights blinking( I know, I know) The officer used laser stalker and clocked me at 40 mph in a 15. I have never gotten a ticket before and I did request a hearing and trial. I am wondering what is my best option to try and get out of this ticket or at least reduce the fine which is $455.00 (holy cow!). Also, I read something about requesting a record of calibration for the laser stalker used? Is this a good idea? Any advice about fighting this ticket would help!
