My question involves child support in the State of: indiana. My ex and I have our decree stating that I being the non custodial parent cannot claim my daughter on my taxes if I am in arrears. Which I'm ok with, but my question is if I don't get to claim her shouldn't that amount of money go to the arrears. It's a $3900 deduction and I think that should be credited to the support arrears. What would a judge say about this. Should it clear out my arrears of less than $3000? Any help would be appreciated! Ty.

Also I do pay extra every week to try and catch up on arrears.
