My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Arkansas
I've been in counseling and addiction programs for 2 years to try to stop emailing my ex-fiance. As a last resort, I asked him to file a restraining order against me so that I would have severe consequences if I continued. In the order, he wrote that I requested it, that I have been "harassing" him for 2 years and that I am going to see a psychiatrist at the end of this month (all true.) The hearing is in two weeks. I'm afraid that seeing him at it will trigger my addiction - can I just stay away, since I'm not contesting it?
