My question involves child support in the State of: Il and MI
My income at the time of my divorce was temporarily higher that what it should be because I am working overseas and the company pays for a lot of my expenses. I am scheduled to go repatrait back to the US at the end of October. With my repatriation I will see a reduction in income, basically go back to normal. My divorce was done in IL but I will be moving back to MI.
Questions:
• Can I start my change in support request now with effective date of November?
• Should I file for a change in MI or IL ? How longs does this process take?
• Is this something I can do by myself or should I get representation?
