My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Texas
I momentarily parked in a handicap spot at my apartment complex while I went inside to change clothes. I got towed from the spot. I have a parking permit decal clearly shown on my car. I'm aware that I shouldn't have parked there because I can get a fine.
But my question is, can a towing company tow a car acting as law enforcement under the pretense that it was towed because it was illegally parked in a handicap spot? I was under the impression that is for law enforcement to, well, enforce.
