Speeding Tickets: Unable to Decipher "Location of Violation" Section

samedi 18 octobre 2014

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA

I received a VC 22350 a few weeks ago, and in prep for my court date I've been trying to figure out the details of what is written on my ticket -- hopefully you guys might know what these acronyms mean -- Google has been little help so far.

Here is what I believe it to read:

"F.O.B. F/B E/ NEW YORK"

I've uploaded an picture of the ticket -- you can see it here: http://ift.tt/1sWOWmB

Theories so far:

F.O.B. | Possibly 'Free On Board'? Makes no sense, but it's the only thing I've got.

F/B | Could be E/B, which could mean Eastbound? I was going very nearly exactly south, but the ticket was given by CHP, and since highways usually go East/West, even if they're more N/S, he might have written E/B out of habit? Or it could be F/B and mean Freeway Bound, which I was.

E/ New York | I have no clue, possibly East New York? Even if so, nothing near the location of the incident is called New York that I can find, and I've search Google Maps pretty extensively.
