My question involves criminal records for the state of: Virginia
When I was in my early 20's I was convicted of assault on a juvenile. Now I'm in my 40's. I am fighting for custody of my 2 year old son. I went to the Virginia State Police to get my criminal record. To my surprise my conviction of assault on the juvenile was not on my criminal record that I received from the Virginia State Police.
My question is why? Will or could it still be brought up in court when I go for custody?
