My question involves criminal law for the state of: AZ. AZ charged me with 28-3478 (possession of cancelled license). What are the penalties for this? Can I fight this charge? I was not aware that my license was suspended and was not driving, only charged for having my own license in my possession while being unaware of its cancellation. Help? I have court at 10am and I don't want to just plead guilty and have to pay some ridiculous fine for this.
