My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
A friend of mine was falsely accused and charged with Penal Code 288 Lewd Acts with a Child. Placed on probation, attend dui classes, random drug testing, register as a sex offender & pay fines & restitution. He's been paying the fines, attends every single class, does everything ordered. A couple weeks ago while friend was not home. Sheriffs went to his residence searched his room & garage & seized plastic containers/crates property of a local store. The following week they had a warrant for his arrest & he now is in jail facing min. 8 years Prison time for probation violation & possession of stolen property. What do the plastic containers have to do with his original offense?
