My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
I live in San Diego, CA and I've been on a month-to-month lease for more than 5 years. I decided to move out of the place so I want to give a 30-day notice. Since I'd like to pay until the end of February, which has 28 days, am I require to send the letter on January 29th? I know it sounds like a silly question but I know my property manager and she'll try to find any reason to charge me extra and keep my deposit.
