My question involves medical malpractice in the state of: florida
My 4 month old was given a vaccine by a nurse that the doctor did not order.
vaccine was for rota virus and the dr. Told us she was to old to begin the series (3 shots).
when I noticed the rota virus label on the table after the nurse walked out, we asked to speak to the doctor again who said it was a mistake but not a big deal.
We are finding a new doctor. Is there legal course to reprimand this practice? We have been there 3 times and each time they have been confused about what vaccinations she needs or where going to attempt vaccination series when she was just there for a visit for a respiratory virus.
